About me

I’m Nalina Tran, an event MC, speaker and communication coach based in Sydney and Adelaide.

At the core of all my work is storytelling—stories of resilience, lived experience, and transformation. I grew up in a small coastal town, Cam Ranh, and moved to Sydney in 2010 with family, carrying curiosity, ambitions and an audacious dose of “let’s see what happens.”

I understand the challenges women, particularly from diverse backgrounds, face: immense expertise and resilience, yet difficulty expressing it fully or confidently. Coming from the same demographic I am committed to serve, I am dedicated to creating meaningful impact.

On stage, I’m known for wit, presence, and dangerously quick banter ( my client’s words, not mine). Behind the scenes, I help women and CALD professionals transform their lived experience and cultural perspective into authority, clarity, and confidence through Rooted Authority™ coaching.

My goal is simple: every brand I represent and every woman I coach leaves stronger, more confident, and inspired—feeling like showing up was the best decision they made today. And beyond that, they go on to create impact, spark ripple effects, and grow communities, turning their voice and presence into influence that extends far beyond the room.
