Founder’s story: our why

This work began with my mum.

In 1989, she wanted to rent a small shop to open a clothing store. She couldn’t. Not because she lacked vision or work ethic, but because she didn’t have the language, confidence, or negotiating power to explain what she needed or why it mattered. She told me later, “I didn’t know how to speak for myself.”

That stayed with me.

I learned early that communication is fundamental to opportunities and relationships. The ability to express yourself clearly, while staying true to who you are, should not be a privilege. It should be accessible to everyone.

As an event MC with a background in media and documentary, storytelling is something I live and breathe. We work with women across technology, health, engineering, business, and the creative industries. And while their careers look different, they share one thing in common: more women are stepping into leadership than ever before — and they deserve support that is designed for them and their lived experience.
