Filmmaking — where my storytelling journey started
The journey
I was 15 when I made my first documentary, about my friend Felicity's journey with chronic fatigue. At 17, I entered my first TV commercial competition for Qantas’s Feels Like Home campaign (looking back, it was terribly made). And that marked the beginning of all my wildest dreams.
Fast forward, and I've been part of the producing teams behind ABC's feature film Here Out West, which opened Sydney Film Festival 2022, Sony award-finalist Did I Choose My Trauma with Dr. Yemi Penn, award-winning short film I'm Good, spotlighting men, footy, and mental health.
I'm proud of the creative journey it took to get here and continue to unfold. Every project taught me something about the power of a story told well, and the impact it can have when it lands in the right hands.
Now, I use that same storytelling to make tangible impact. One good cause at a time.
